She established a non-profit organization, The Cure For Tomorrow, which tries to empower youth through environmental and educational issues in 2006. She became the youngest finalist of CosmoGIRL! of The Year 2006 and also Indonesian youth ambassador in several international summits and government meetings, including Global Changemakers at the London Summit 2009. Alanda has been recently awarded by Ashoka Indonesia as one of its Young Changemakers for Innovation in Clear Water and Sanitation in 2010. IYC was her initiative, as a part of Global Changemakers’ Community Action Projects (CAPs). You can ask almost anything to Alanda, but preferably anything related to IYC’s programs and events.
